XC Development Day

The Cycling Ulster Off-road Commission is going to host a cross-country mountain bike training day for riders who are planning on racing outside of the island of Ireland. The training day will take place on Sunday 27 February at Tollymore Mountain Centre. The training is aimed at second year Under 16s, Juniors and Under 23s (2000-2006), male or female. The training is limited to 10 riders. Riders must be from Ulster.

Meet up at Tollymore Mountain Centre at 10 am. After a briefing, head out onto the trails.

Expression of interest to race at the British National Trophy Round 3 at Falkirk

The purpose of this of this post is to set out the selection process for riders to compete in a Cycling Ulster team the British National Trophy Round 3 at Falkirk (24/10/2021). The selection is open to riders in the following categories: second year Under 16 boys, second year Under 16 girls, Junior men, Junior women, Under 23 men, Under 23 women.  Maximum 8 riders – maximum 2 per race category. Riders may be asked to contribute towards food costs etc.

Ulster Off-road rider bursaries – Cyclo-cross

The Cycling Ulster Off-road Commission has set aside a bursary to support riders who are competing in cyclo-cross races outside of the island of Ireland.  The bursary is available to Ulster riders in the following age groups:  Under 14, Under 16, Junior or Under 23 (year of birth 1999-2008).  There are a limited number of bursaries of £150 per rider.

Ulster Off-road rider bursaries

The Cycling Ulster Off-road Commission has set aside a bursary to support riders who are competing in off-road cycle races outside of the island of Ireland.  The bursary is open to riders competing in cross-country (XC), enduro, downhill (DH) and cyclo-cross (CX).  The bursary is available to Ulster riders in the following age groups:  Under 14, Under 16, Junior or Under 23 (year of birth 1999-2008).  There are a limited number of bursaries of £150 per rider with each discipline being offered the same number of bursaries.
